Women for Secretary of State
Hillary Rodham Clinton served as United States Secretary of State under President Barack Obama from 2009 to 2013, and was head of the department leading the foreign policy of the Obama administration. She was headed in office by Condoleezza Rice and prospered by John Kerry. She is the only former First Lady of the United States to become a member of the United States Cabinet. Clinton was in the forefront of the U.S. response to the Arab Spring, including encouraging the military intervention in Libya. She presented the Quadrennial Diplomacy and Development Review process to the State Department, seeking to exploit departmental effectiveness and endorse the empowerment of women worldwide, and used "smart power" as the approach for declaring U.S. leadership and values in the world. She is the most broadly traveled secretary during her time in office and also championed the use of social media in getting the U.S. message out. She is possibly going to run for president.
This did not steal equality, but before this, people never thought that women would take on this job and a lot never thought that women would be president let alone run. This stole equality because women weren't being treated equally by men because they thought women weren't strong and wouldn't be able to take on such jobs in government. Clinton was a perfect representation of what women really have to offer. So when she became secretary of state, more and more people were convinced that women have a huge impact on our government and society. This spread tons of equality and made women feel more equal to men and that they were capable of anything men could do.
